Boyfriend's Graduation: First Class Honours Master of Chemistry Degree

Today has been a very special day; my other half graduated with a First Class Honours Master of Chemistry Degree! Words cannot describe how I love and am proud I am of this guy. I've been there during his time at university and I've seen his drive. I remember how we always resorted to having dates in Starbucks because he had research to complete or an exam to revise for, he's had numerous breakdowns and there were times when he just wanted to give up. Well, I'm ecstatic he didn't give up on his dream because look at what he can do. He worked tirelessly to achieve this outstanding degree classification and I couldn't be more excited for him to begin the next chapter of his life.

You wouldn't think he was one grumpy guy this morning looking at that smile on his face (photo above). This was because we woke up at 7am this morning and well, let me just say he's not a morning person. His ceremony was set to kick off at 9:15am. and it was held at The St Davids Hall situated in the heart of Cardiff.  Accompanied by his mum, his brother, myself and his best-friend; gown collection was the only thing on our minds this morning. Sure enough, the queues were insane but I wouldn't have expected any less on graduation day.

The ceremony was about an hour and half then came our favourite part: FOOD TIME!! Yes, my boyfriend is as much of a foodie as me.

Meal booked: Miller's & Carter Flagship store, The Hayes, Cardiff
What did we want?  S T E A K  obviously
Rating: 5/5 (that steak was exquisite)

Starters: Garlic bread with cheese, Salt and pepper Calamari

Mains: I had 8oz Sirloin Steak, my boyfriend's best friend had 8oz Rump Steak and the rest had 12oz T-bone Steak. All steaks come with a salad, a choice of fries and a sauce.

Its been an amazing day, I'm so lucky to have had the opportunity to be apart of my love's special day.

Congratulations babe!!
