Coco Gelato Cardiff Review

Offering a large selection of deserts, milkshakes, toppings and ice creams, Coco Gelato is easily the best desert parlor in Cardiff, one that's definitely worth a visit. Under no circumstances should food like this however be consumed on a daily, even weekly basis. The amount of sugar in just one serving is pretty enormous and over consumption can lead to numerous health problems including high blood pressure. Back to the review, last night a friend and I met up for a well-overdue catch up and our place of choice, coco gelato. This fairly priced cafe has a great atmosphere, friendly staff and very modernised decor. Ice cream is something I've had to cut out of my diet because it is one of my triggers but for this occasion, I had to make an exception.

It's really hard to choose from the menu, everything looks great and so be prepared to spend a good 10 minutes trying to decide what to have. My friend had bananalicious (crepe topped with banana, chopped nuts and nutella served with a scoop of ice cream and whipped cream).and I had berrydipped (crepe topped with strawberried dipped in melted chocolate served with chocolate sauce, whipped cream and a scoop of ice cream).

Would I recommend Coco Gelato? Yes (4/5)
