Easy Homemade Mashed potatoes!

 Mashed potatoes are definitely one of the greatest and of course one of my favourite comfort foods! Whether you're sad, happy or poorly; your taste buds seem to always welcome the warmth and delicate texture that mashed potatoes bring. Because they are super easy and quick to make; this dish is definitely one you can rustle up after a long day at work. Served with homemade gravy and grilled chicken thighs; this is one simple meal that is sure to please the whole family.

What you need:
  • 16 small potatoes
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
  1. In a medium sized pot; bring water to boil then add salt and potatoes and cook until tender (20 minutes then drain)
  2. On low heat in a wok pan, heat up butter then add the milk. Warm up until the butter is melted.
  3. Add potatoes to mixture then using an electric beater, blend until completely smooth.
  4. Season with pepper then serve with gravy, a sprinkle of parsley and grilled chicken
