Sunny Spells!

Rump Steak, is it good for you?

Rump steak is most definitely the leanest beef cut available, with only 125 kcal per 100g. Beef is a great source of the essential nutrient B12 and just 100g of lean beef will deliver your recommended daily allowance. It is also what my housemates and I eat a lot more than any other meat in our house; just can't get enough. A serving of rump steak will provide you with iron, which is needed for healthy blood, growth and a strong immune system. However, there are a few downsides to eating excessive amounts of Rump steak.

Eating healthy doesn't have to be expensive!

I absolutely love salads which is probably why my fridge is full of vegetables and fruits. Spring/summer is the perfect time to consume as much salad as you want; not only are they nutritious, they taste pretty great too! It's one of the simplest healthy eating habits you can have, super easy to throw one together and they are actually super convenient. I thought I'd write up a quick post on just how inexpensive eating healthy can be since salad is on the menu for today's lunch.

Chicken roasted on a Bed of Vegetables!

There is nothing quite like a delicious, satisfying homemade meal! Actually, I've cooked everyday since the age of 9 so homemade meals have always been the norm. Chicken is one of those things I eat quite a lot which is why this dish is a favourite of mine; 100% comfort food. I mixed together different vegetables; sweet potatoes included, so as to achieve that gorgeous burst of flavour! If you haven't as of yet attempted to make this delightful dish, I suggest you get cooking.

Sorrento's Burger and Shake, Cardiff

Sorrento's I'll be back! Ahhh, you've never seen a burger as C O O L as this, one that tastes just as good as it looks! Did I mention that this 8oz Jurassic Prime Burger is enough for two? Don't judge me, I'm a small person who can only take in so much. Yesterday, my friend Erica and I made a quick trip to Sorrento's for a catch up and obviously to give this skyscraper burger a try. This family run business has fast become my favourite place to eat, better yet chill. The service is outstanding; burgers, simply stunning. Collin, the chef and owner of the restaurant and his son are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I love that they take the time to chat with their customers; offering them a great experience and more than willing to adjust the food to your liking. As for their Caramel Brulee, so smooth, so creamy, absolutely delicious. The best I've tasted to date! I know you're dying to know more, read on..
