As I write this, I'm on my way to Birmingham for Clothes Show Live, exciting stuff! I have a press pass and will be around all day so if you are out and about, be sure to say hie. Gorgeous hotel and an excellent location equals a very happy blogger. On the 29th of November I made a trip to London for a few meetings and of course to attend the Company Magazine VIP Christmas party which was amazing by the way! What made my two days there even better was the luxury hotel I stayed at; one of the Guoman Hotels. I stayed at 'The Tower', a modern hotel with its own unique identity and style. Oh, did I mention that it's located right by The Thames and Tower Bridge, my view was just incredible!
Breakfast anyone?! That's right, breakfast is a buffet! No, not a limited buffet, it contains everything you could ever want to eat.
I'd definitely recommend The Tower and here is why! 4 star accommodation with great views of the Tower Bridge or St. Kathrine's Dock which was just breathtaking. My executive room was on the 5th floor looking over the Thames and the Tower bridge which was brilliant. Do I even need to talk about the room; the photos say it all. Beautiful room, very clean and the bed was ever so comfortable. Who doesn't love pure white bedding! Bathrobes and slippers were provided which was lovely. Also included in my room was an iron, ironing board, tea & coffee making facilities, complimentary water, Australian wine, orange juice, coca cola, ice buckets (ice available on different floors), toiletries (soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion) and of course towels. Included in the executive room was also free access to the bar/lounge where you could grab some refreshments and snacks. The receptionists and staff are very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them, great customer service. The bar overlooks the river and has such a vibrant atmosphere, they also provide peanuts etc with drinks. Best hotel I've been to so far, loved every minute of it. If you are ever in London and looking for a great hotel to stay at; look no further than 'The Tower'.
Have a lovely Sunday!
