*Tartan: SomedaybyLaura!

Laura Thompson Dress / H&M Belt / River Island Bag / Primark Shoes.

From keeping up to date with trend reports and all those beloved magazines, it's pretty obvious that tartan is back! It's back in a big way and it's all thanks to the punk trend which has hit the fashion scene lately; bringing all those punky waves to an all time high. You can only imagine my excitement when one of my amazing Instagram followers informed me about the dresses, tops etc that she makes and would like to send me one for the purpose of review. She is just starting up and you can view her website HERE or follow her Instagram: laurathompson_89.
My fondness for prints is stronger than ever which is why its such a great a addition to my wardrobe and with colour comes versatility which leaves room for some serious styling and accessorising. It's all about 'Punky Uptown Chic'; let's create chaos.

For all you cleavage baring lovers out there, this dress is for you! With its rather low v-neck and open back, this surely is one hell of a show-stopper. Because I'm quite small chested, I decided to pull together and cover up my cleavage; just trying to live large whilst keep my decency intact. Throw on a neon coloured belt to add a hint of playful, finishing off with a classic pair of black heels and print clutch. My favourite thing about this dress is the drapey effect, brings that little bit of elegance.
The only negative I have on this is that it doesn't fit that well for petite people, maybe make smaller sizes with less fabric as it can be quite over whelming for us small people; adding a bit ore shape to the dresses. To enhance my body shape; I had to put this neon belt in the middle, it would be nice to have the option not to wear a belt. All in all, it's such a lovely dress and I look forward to creating one demented punk get-up when I wear it next.
